Prof. Portinaro is one of the foremost experts on hip, knees, foot and neurological orthopedic diseases and treatments.
He is the Director of the Orthopedic Paediatric and Neuro-Orthopedic Department at Humanitas Research Hospital (Milan, Italy) and Professor at University of Milan Medical School. He also teaches ath the Nursing degree course, Specialization course in Orthopedic and Traumatology.
He has almost 30 years of experience and a remarkable international background.
Our Research
Prof. Portinaro and his team at Humanitas Research Hospital (Milan, Italy) has been doing scientific research on engineering technology and molecular biology since 2003. Their aim is to improve the understanding of the problems in pediatric patients with neuromotor disorders and therefore to optimize the timing and strategies for treatment.
Prof. Portinaro teaches Orthopedics and Traumatology at the faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Unversity of Milan. He also teaches at the Orthopedics and Traumatology trainess school, Milan University.
Prof. Portinaro is in the faculty of the International Medical School of Milan, and he is often invited to carry out teachings activities in prestigious Universities worldwide.
